A Church for the Whole Family

Ferry Church is here to support you and your family no matter your life stage. Our church partners with parents to help them raise their kids in the Christian faith. We’d love to meet your kids and invest in their lives.

We provide a safe and welcoming Kids Ministry for children and families

On Sunday mornings our kids head to Sunday School just before the sermon for a snack, an age appropriate lesson, craft or game, and singing worship songs with our volunteers. We use Orange Curriculum, a curriculum with a focus on integrating faith formation in children at church and in the home. Learn more about our curriculum here.

After the service, kids join the rest of the congregation in fellowship for snacks and juice. Is there anything we can do to make your child feel more welcome and safe? Contact Pastor Beth and let us know!

GEMS & Cadets at Ferry Church

This fall, we’re excited to launch GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior). In fall 2026, we are planning to launch Cadets!

  • GEMS is a ministry for girls in grades 1–6 that helps them grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover their unique identity as God’s beloved daughters.

  • Cadets is a ministry for boys in grades 1–6 that encourages them to follow Jesus in every part of life while learning new skills, enjoying fun activities, and growing in character.

GEMS meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from September - April.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Ferry hosts a Vacation Bible School each summer for kids ages 4–11. We had a blast with everyone who joined us in June 2025!

Youth are loved at Ferry Church!

Our youth group (6th–12th grade) meets on Sunday evenings during the school year from 5:00–7:00 pm, and once a month during the summer. Each gathering includes:

  • A shared meal

  • Engaging games

  • Meaningful teaching and discussion about how God impacts our lives

Throughout the year, we also serve together in the community and enjoy special outings—like trips to Lewis Farms, DEFY trampoline park, and more. See the Fall Calendar below for details.

Middle and high school students, you are welcome here at FMRC Youth Group! Our heart is for every teen in our community to experience the love of Jesus, and we’d love to get to know you.
