A Church for the Whole Family
Ferry Church is here to support you and your family no matter your life stage. Our church partners with parents to help them raise their kids in the Christian faith. We’d love to meet your kids and invest in their lives!
We provide a safe and welcoming Kids Ministry for children and families.
Sunday Morning Kids
On Sunday mornings, nursery care is available for children birth–4 years old, and Sunday School is offered for kids ages 5–11.
Following the children’s message during worship, kids ages 5–11 are invited to Sunday School for a snack, age-appropriate Bible lesson, craft or game, and worship songs. We use Orange Curriculum, which focuses on helping children grow in faith both at church and at home. Learn more about our curriculum here.
After worship, kids and families are invited to join the congregation for fellowship, snacks, and juice.
We want every child to feel welcome and safe at Ferry! Pastor Beth is currently on maternity leave, but if there’s anything we can do to help your child feel more comfortable in the meantime, contact volunteer Lyndsey Near at lyndseynear@gmail.com and let us know!
GEMS & Cadets at Ferry
Ferry offers two midweek ministries for elementary-aged children: GEMS and Cadets!
GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) is for girls in grades 1–6. Girls grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover their identity as God’s beloved daughters.
Cadets is for boys in grades 1–6. Boys are encouraged to follow Jesus while learning new skills, enjoying fun activities, and growing in character.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Ferry hosts Vacation Bible School each summer for kids ages 4–11! Kids explore the Bible through engaging lessons, skits, worship songs, games, crafts, snacks, and more.

Our youth group (6th–12th grade) meets on Sunday evenings during the school year, usually from 5–7 pm, and once a month during the summer. Each gathering includes:
A shared meal
Engaging games
Bible-based teaching and discussion about the Lord + application for our daily lives
Throughout the year, we also serve together in the community and enjoy special outings—like trips to Lewis Farms, DEFY trampoline park, and more!
Students have the chance to join us on a yearly winter retreat, and out-of-state mission trip as well.
Middle and high school students, you are welcome here at FMRC Youth Group! Our heart is for every teen in our community to experience the love of Jesus, and we’d love to get to know you!
