Saturday, May 6, 1 & 4 pm, FMRC is providing community members an opportunity to receive CPR/AED certification free. A certified instructor will teach adult and child CPR/AED. Classes are limited to 6 persons at a time. See below to register. We will add more times and dates as needed. This is an American Health Safety Institute certification.
At the conclusion of the class, participants will be able to:
Performance Evaluation: All students must perform required skills competently without assistance.

At the conclusion of the class, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the importance of first performing a scene survey in any emergency situation
- State the role of early activation of the Emergency Medical Services system
- Describe those emergency situations where universal precautions are necessary
- Discuss the appropriate treatment sequences for a variety of illnesses and injuries
- State the importance of cervical spine immobilization
- Perform a proper scene survey, primary survey and secondary survey
